Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary. Not exactly how we'd plan to spend it!! Oh well, we will just have to postpone celebration for a little bit.



We're still waiting for the stinkin insurance company to approve Frank's air ambulance to get back to New York. It is just plain stupid how long it takes them to do anything....



But Frank gave me an AWESOME present this morning...he sat up on the side of the bed....then he stood, for about 3 minutes...then....he took a few steps to the side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO excited and proud of him. The PT people here were so impressed with what he's able to do!!



We took him off the anti-anxiety/mood stablizer as of yesterday morning. He wasn't feeling well on it and was really not himself at all. Today - he's much better!! And he was able to have a BM on his own (he'll probably hate me for posting that, but it's a good sign!).



So, we're ready to go to rehab...we need to get back to NY because although the facility down here is in-network, none of the doctors are, so they'd end up holding us responsible for whatever the insurance company didn't cover...we can't afford that, so we're going back to NY...but we need the insurance company to approve transport for him via air ambulance so we can get there!!
