WOO HOO!

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a while since I posted...things have been hectic! We have been trying to get all of our things into our storage unit from the co-op so it would be vacant and ready to sell...well, in the meantime someone wanted to come see it...we warned it was a mess, as we were mid-pack/move...they didn't mind.

And Saturday we got a GREAT call...they made an offer and (after some negotiation) we accepted!!! WOO HOO!!!!! We are SO excited, as we know what a horror this market is right now...we are so thankful to have found a buyer quickly.

So now begins the process of contracts, and making sure the buyer's financing is in place...We are hoping to close before Christmas, but it is really up to the managing agent and how fast they feel like moving on our behalf. We have a great real estate agent and attorney working with us, so hopefully it will happen soon!!

Thank you again for all of your prayers - I know they worked!! And for those of you selling your own homes, I will keep praying that you find buyers soon as well!!!

Otherwise, we're doing well...Frank is doing well in rehab - they had him use the stationary bike for a few minutes for the first time yesterday. Each day he's a little stronger.

Kaitlynn had a cold last week that she was so kind to share with all of us, so we're all battling that. She's feeling better....and now her other molar is coming in...this poor kid!!!

And we're settling into Mom and Dad's...trying to find places for all of our things and bring in some things of our own...so far, so good!

We're looking forward to Thanksgiving this year - we certainly have a LOT to be thankful for!!! Wishing everyone the best!!!

Halloween...The pictures

November?? How'd that happen??

So, I didn't get a chance to update last week...it was a bit chaotic around here...

Frank is doing well...he had his therapy evaluation on Thursday and that went well...they gave him a bunch of exercises to do at home, and he'll be going three times a week to the rehab facility. He's been walking with just the cane (and around the house with nothing) which is HUGE!! Each day it seems a little stronger...

We went to lunch on Saturday and ran into one of the PT guys from St. Charles. He said it wouldn't surprise him if all was back to "normal" by Christmas....Let's pray that's the case!!!

We put our co-op on the market, so we'll hope for the best there...And we've started getting the stuff out and into the storage unit...we want to have an open house next week, so hopefully we can get it all out by then!

Kaitlynn's doing well...she was Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween...Mommy and Daddy were Shrek and Fiona. If I can figure out how to get pictures on here, I'll upload them later...We had a lot of fun and revelled in the fact that Frank was ABLE to go trick or treating!!! That was one of his goals, and he did it!!!

So that's where we are...I could rant on about how expensive bad chain restaurants have become, but who wants to listen to that!! And I don't do politics, so we'll not discuss that mess either...

We're doing well, but we could always use extra prayers if you've got 'em! We hope all of you are well.
